Blockchain opportunities in Gozo
There has been an undeniable shortage of opportunities for potential candidates from Gozo to find tech opportunities in their quiet island home. Ever since RS2 publicized their decision to add a hub in Gozo in 2014, it became apparent that it is possible for companies to open up or extend their services to Gozo. The adoption of the idea of moving or extending to Gozo has been slow forthgoing.
The Prime Minister, Joseph Muscat, has not forgotten the Gozitans and has recently been in contact with a Blockchain company known as Noovle. Extending its #BlockchainIsland hashtag to include all of the Maltese islands, this move would be expected to promote Gozitan talent, enrich development in the Blockchain community in Malta and Gozo, and improve the quality of life of several residents living on the island. It is no secret that the commute between the islands creates a daunting toll on the lives of so many of its residents who travel on a daily basis for working purposes.
Noovle is an ICT and Cloud Consultancy Company which was founded in June 2013. The main collaborators are in Italy, Switzerland, France, Malta, and Slovakia.
